The Department of Accident & Emergency Care at United Medical College Hospital provides all-inclusive emergency medical services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, delivering rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients with critical illnesses, traumatic injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. Our emergency physicians, trauma specialists, nurses, and emergency response teams are trained to deliver prompt, evidence-based care when every moment matters.

Designed to manage a wide spectrum of medical and surgical emergencies, our department is equipped with advanced resuscitation facilities, dedicated trauma bays, emergency operating support, and immediate access to critical care services. Following internationally recognized Golden Hour Protocols, we prioritize rapid intervention to improve survival and reduce the risk of long-term complications.

With Bangladesh's only Cardiac Support Ambulance, Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance services, and seamless coordination with Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Critical Care, and other specialties, we ensure patients receive the right care from the moment an emergency occurs until recovery.
